Transfer question

I have some points from my June 2018 UY. They have not been banked or borrowed. Can I go ahead and transfer them to someone else to use so that they can book a vacation in June 2018?

And what information do I need to have?

The person who takes the transfer will need to compensate you and you would need his/her memberID

I like to have both you and the other member on the phone with Member Services.
I call from my cell phone the member whom you are transferring the points to. Then I add a call and call Member Services. I go through all the account confirmation and such, then when I get a cast member on the phone I let them know what I am doing and merge the calls together.
I will put the phone down when that member tells member services their details as I do not want to know or hear any of that...

I will charge the same as renting points and want the money before the transfer. The going rate is $15/point it appears.

Do you take payment via PayPal? If so, have you had any issues with the $$$ not appearing in your account immediately (while on the call with member services)? I am planning my first transfer out and was wondering about this.

I have done Paypal (as a friend transfer or +3% service fee) and have had no issues. How they pay will depend upon how soon you get the money. I have also had guests mail me a cashier's check before as well -- but not on a transfer of points.
