Transfer Question

Question for the great people of the board.

I was forced to sell one of my two contracts for DVC. I have two seperate contracts with the same use year but at different resorts. I am retaining one of my contracts.

My question is about the transfer of points. I have *** points that I must use prior to *** of the contract that I am selling. These points are not part of the selling and are totally mine to dispose of them. Can I transfer my points from resort A to my resort B that I am keeping under the once a year transfer rule. I may have the oppurtunity to go later in 2010 and want the points for a future stay.

Are they under the same membership number? If so, it is unlikely you can transfer them. If they are totally seperate memberships, with different membership numbers, then you should be able to transfer.

I asked this question a week ago and the answer was yes you can do it and they consider it your 1 transfer for the use year (even though technically you are doing one transfer in and one transfer of each contract).
