Transfer or Rental car to Port Canaveral?

What rental car companies are nearby to Port Canaveral? Would it be wiser to rent a car from Orlando Airport over to the ship or take the transfers? We only need transportation one way. Thanks for the help!

While it will probably be cheaper to rent a car, it's somewhat more convenient to take the DCL bus. For one-way transfers, I believe it's $25/pp. The best resource for car rental info that I know of is:
