Transfer luggage question...

I need a PLAN B while waiting on our waitlist to come trhough for our Christmas trip. Currently I have our 1 bedroom from 12-22 thru 12-26 at BWV. I was planning on having us stay at POFQ during the first half of the trip...then I started thinking about having to change luggage over on our switch day. Now I'm thinking it's easier to just book a room at BWI.

Does anyone else have experience with these type of split stays and how Disney handles luggage transfer (if at all??)...

When we changed resorts we just went to bell services informed them wher we were going to and they delivered to the resort. Very easy.

I was hoping it would be that easy as hubby and I'd like to stay at POFQ again...it's been several years and of course would be cheaper than BWI.

If you call bell services to pickup your luggage, you have to be in the room when the come. Same applies to your new resort, if you want it delivered you have to be in the room. You can also drop your luggage off at the bell stand and pick up from the bell stand at the new resort. Luggage is only transferred once a day so it will not be available at the new resort until at least 4pm.
