So, we booked our cruise on the Dream over the weekend (my first, DW's second)...but now wondering if we should have gone the travel agency route (Dreams obviously). Can we transfer it over to them if we have already booked and paid the deposit? Second question, can you pay for the cruise with Disney Gift Cards if you book through a travel agency?

    Thanks!

You get a smaller amount of on board credit if you transfer your cruise, if the prices haven't gone up yet, it might be worth it to cancel your current cruise and rebook with the TA

it is true that Dreams offers a smaller amount of onboard credit when you transfer a cruise rather than booking directly through them. However, since the OP booked on board, they get a discount on their cruise and onboard credit from Disney. Canceling and rebooking in this situation is unlikely to save money.

Not really sure the new cruise is on the Dream, or if they were on the Dream while booking it ;) but yest, that would matter if it was an on board booking
