Going to WDW in May without a rental car and will be staying 2 nights at the Safari and 5 at the Dolphin. Booked the R/T to/from MCO on Tiffany's Towncar service, but am wondering about the hotel-to-hotel transfer between the Safari and the Dolphin. Tiffany's Towncar is quoting a $30 price for a hotel-to-hotel transfer, but I'm unsure what a cab fare between the two hotels would be, nor which of the two would be a better option.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

Hi Slippahs,
I know you from flyertalk.com! You helped with my trip to Kauai! Nice to see you over here on the DIS!

I wish I had an answer for you but I'm not sure how much a taxi would be. I inquired about a taxi from MCO to Celebration and was told it would be around $50 plus tip. I think you may find the price close to $30 from Safari to the Dolphin but I'm not positive. Hopefully someone will post a definate answer for you.

We just came back from the Swan. You will love the Dolphin and it's incredible location. We've stayed at the Dolphin twice and enjoy both resorts. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Have a great time!

Hi Muffy, thanks for the advice on the Dolphin and transportation b/w the hotels. We're a bit iffy on staying at the Dolphin because of the mixed reaction its received on TripAdvisor, but we'll likely stick with it and see what comes of it!

Good to see a FTer on these boards, and thanks again for the kind welcome.

Just for comparison...at Christmas we took a taxi from Saratoga Springs Resort to the Wilderness Lodge...got stuck by a couple of red lights, which kept the meter ticking, but including tip the total was $16. I'll be transferring from one hotel to another (all WDW properties though) on our July trip and will probably end up taking a taxi when we do. I know between WDW properties they will transfer our bags and I can use the WDW bus transportation for free, but Dsis who's going with me and I are leaning toward the taxi just for convience.

Hope this helps!
