We will be at AK this Saturday with opening time at 8. What time should the train start running?

We have never done this but thought we might this time after we have done EE, Kili and FOTLK early. We don't have fast passes here so may be looking for something less crowded.

thanks

1. It will have been open long before you have done all that.
2. That should qualify.

We enjoyed the side trip to Conservation Station on our last trip. It's nothing you wouldn't see at a nice zoo or science museum but it's quiet and nice for younger kids. Lots of creepy crawly things and they often bring out cool birds to look at up close and there's the petting zoo.

8:30 am.:)

Try to catch "It All Started With A Mouse" at 11:30 AM-it is a cute little show that is not "advertised".

Thanks again all. I would like to try to catch that show. I saw that on Steve Soares site. Do you think if we saw FOTLK at ten we could catch that at 11:30?

If you do this as the outpost is closing they corral the animals... The funniest thing I've ever seen! Big hint... watch the cow! Hilarious!

I'm excited to do this when we go too. The "Affection Section" is especially enticing. I'm used to having my hands on critters every day of my life (dogs, cats, and horses), so I'm going to be eager to give some affection to something with fur by the time we hit Animal Kingdom on day 4 of our trip!

My favorite? He's not an easy sight to see but when he's out and available, the hairy pig just might see a child be swatted aside so this 50ish woman can have a petting of him as well. OK - I wouldn't swat the child aside but would wait impatiently behind the twerp for just one swipe of the fuzzy thing (the pig, not the child :))

Disney World - where someone who has been there more than 60 times gets a great feeling after petting a hairy pig.

I wouldn't judge you for knocking the kid out of the way. Hairy pigs are important.

Not crazy about conservation station, but for some reason I actually really enjoy the train ride.

Have a contest with your family - just like with the Tree of Life, see how many animals your family can identify on that fantastic mural in the Station.
