First, Can you order a piece of the strawberry shortcake from the HDD? Second, Can an adult order off of the child's menu for lunch?

I doubt it. That seems to be a specialty of the HDDR. But I've never tried, so give it a shot.

No you can't, but there have been a few times I have seen it on TE's buffet, but not in the last few years. (unless they have had it when I was not there)

When Crockett's Tavern was actually a restaurant many years ago, you could basically order the same food as the HDDR, and it had other things on the menu including steaks, fajitas, etc. Back then it was a sit down, full service restaurant and was contained on the lower level and operated separately from TE.

As far as I know, the only way to get a child's or reduced menu option, is if you have one of those cards, issued from a physician, after you have some type of Lap Band or other bariatric surgery.

When ordering off a menu, there is no restriction for age and ordering a child's meal. On a buffet, you need the medical clearance/lap band type surgery to justify the child price.

We've gotten the Strawberry Shortcake as an anniversary celebration. We had to share!!

If you do get into the shortcake mood, the shortcake at the desert/pastry counter at Sunshine Seasons inside the Land is pretty good. We will sometimes grab a couple to go on our way out of Epcot to munch on at the RV later.
