We want to head over to Fort Wilderness one night on our next trip to do the campfire and have a carriage ride. We are thinking about eating dinner at the Trail's End buffet. Is it any good? What kind of stuff do they have? Also, do we need to make a PS, or can we just show up? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, so it is easy for us to get over there.

Drinks are an additional cost, but the value is still good. ($14.99 adult for dinner) The main staples that never change at dinner are Fried Chicken, Ribs, Shrimp (the peel & eat variety that is present at so many WDW buffets). Usually there is another carved meat (ie. roast beef, ham or something of that sort) plus sides that rotate.

Hope this helps (we usually go for breakfast)

You can take the boat from WL so it will be easy to get to. We really enjoy Trails End and have never made a PS. As I've stated on other posts we eat here a few times each visit. They have fried chicken (my favorite), carving station, pasta, salad bar and many sides with good desserts such as cobbler, icecream, etc.

Dang it now I want some of the cobbler they serve at lunch.." Oh woe is me...December is so far away."
