When we were at the Fort I went to trails end and got one buffet meal to go for breakfast. Hubby and I ate two mornings on it. That made for a very cheap breakfast for two days ( 4 meals for $12.77). The lady at trails end said that the chef is wanting to change that and have only menu items at the carry out area.
I went there the last morning (Monday day after Ironman) and all they had in the pastry cabinet were cinnamon rolls. They had not made any muffins or bagles. The chef would not allow the lady to sell me any of the pastries from the buffet line. I looked the chef in the eye and said "the ironman catch you off guard." He then allowed her to sell me pastries off the buffet line.
I am not a fan of the ironman at Fort Wilderness. They need to change the way they treat the guest that are not there for the ironman.
