I got a call early this morning from my mom. My sister's husband (40) passed away last night at the hospital. He was in there for something minor and they called her because he took a turn for the worse and by the time she got there, he had died. She didn't even get to say goodbye to him.
she's heartbroke and says she doesn't know how to live her life without him.
I'm so sick. I'm sad/terrified for her, sad for my parents to see their daughter so suffering, sad for his parents/family for losing their son.
I'm so angry and shocked, I can't stop crying. how could this happen? she has no one else, no kids. he was the greatest guy, a giant teddy-bear. they traveled everywhere together and had such a great marriage.
I don't even know what to say to her, she doesn't want to see anyone yet.
