Actually, I think you have to 17 to get a permit and 18 to be able to drive alone.

Please be careful. We got back last Tuesday from driving on 95 (back to Philly). The construction zones were nowhere near as bad as the amount of accidents we saw.

We saw a particularly bad one on the way home (it was a fatal one) and sat for a total of 3 hours in backed up traffic because of 2 separate accidents on the way down. There is also alot of , ahem, road kill out there....at least there was last Monday and Tuesday. We have decided that we are not driving anymore.

Actually, I think you have to 17 to get a permit and 18 to be able to drive alone.

Don't worry, the 1.5yo will not be driving alone, he'l have his parents in the car with him.

No....we were travelling during the day. On the way down it was Saturday and Sunday. On the way home it was Monday and Tuesday.

Yes, be very attentive for deer.

I saw at least 5 deer that were struck on I95 north when I was driving thru last night. They are all over the place in the Carolina's. (Both live and deceased ones)
