Traffic on 192

We are going to WDW June 10 - 17, renting a house. I had picked Emerald Island because it seems the closest to the parks, well the house I rented has been sold and is no longer available. The girl at Villa Direct has offered a house in Terra Verde, which is the other end of 192. She said that was the quieter end and that there is road work by EI and it is very congested. Just wondering if this is true or if they are just telling me that as there are no comparable house available in EI. TIA
