Traditional character meet and greets Coming back this month

Anyone with an upcoming sailing, have you received any notification about this? Curious because some people had mentioned getting notifications about their sailing in September that was going to be distanced.

Yes, if you look at Molly's IG stories (formerly of All Ears) you can see her arm in arm with Goofy. Her IG is mammoth club or something similar.

I did find her on IG! @mammoth_club and I do see her arm in arm with Goofy! (insert excited dancing feet here)

I do see that the "Know Before You Go" page on DCL is still stating things are distanced, but that makes sense considering hugs aren't back fleet-wide yet.

We are on the Wish, departed yesterday, and I can confirm that characters are hugging! My kids were so happy.

Can anyone report on whether autographs are back also? We weren't planning to pack anything for autographs, but we have a tradition in the parks of having the characters sign a photo mat that we use to display a family vacation photo afterward and we'd love to be able to do this for our cruise.

Figures. We experienced some of the last non distanced character meets in March 2020 and now seems like we just experienced some of the last distanced ones on the Magic. Although I can’t say I missed the stress of remembering to grab whatever my kids were having autographed

It should. We were on the cruise before and apparently when the announcement came out it was up to the character manager to switch mid cruise and they opted not to (which is fair imo) but next cruise was going back to pre Covid meets

Oh yes, I'm so glad I elected to schlep the ultra-cute etsy autograph books for my 3 girls across the Atlantic!

Just got off the DVC Alaskan cruise and our 3 1/2 yr old got tons of hugs from the characters. Lots of others were getting autographs.
