Trading Thread

I agree that trading is very fun. And I love making friends with those I trade with. But today, someone posted (on another board - it wasn't a Dis'er) that they wanted what I had to trade, but they didn't have what I wanted. So they offered some stuff and I politely declined. They kept offering and offering more and more stuff, so i finally said yes, even though it wasn't what I had originally asked for.

Well, when we finally meet, she doesn't have half the stuff and says someone made her trade it back or something. But some of it was there. So she seemed nice and (I should have walked away but..) I traded with her. So I was a little disappointed because there was a lot of stuff missing, and I knew I had a good trade item. I waited a few minutes, looked her up (she's the one who wanted to be on my friends list) and found her in her room, with all the stuff (well, I'm not sure about the pins she had promised me, but she had all the furniture stuff she had promised me). I couldn't believe it. To her credit she didn't boot me. And she did add a few more things that I asked for that were in her room. Ooh, it is so sad when you don't think you can trust what people say in a game like this. (and she seemed so nice too, the little stinker! lol)

If I hadn't caught her 'red handed' with what she had promised me, i would never have known and she would have thought she really got away with something.

She still didn't have to give me anything else for the trade, since it had been completed, but to her credit, she did.
