Trader Joe's Tikki Terrrace

If we arrive when it opens or shortly after will there likely be a wait? Can we hang out on the terrace for a while (like 2 hours) if we continue to order drinks?

From our experience, there is usually a wait when they open since the capacity inside is so small. We ended up just sitting out on the terrace the entire time. Not quite the same experience but we enjoyed the food and drinks

PS: Trader Joe's is a grocery. The Disney bar is Trader SAm's.

Wow I wish my local Trader Joe's had a tiki terrace.. But you should be fine to get a table outside if you show up between 4-5pm usually(on weekdays definitely). And you can definitely keep ordering drinks and relaxing for a couple hours at one of those tables (one of my favorite places to hang out on property).

I love this! If my Trader Joe's had a tiki bar, I'm not sure how much grocery shopping I'd get done...

Thanks, I am thinking the terrace would be a perfect spot for my dad & DH to relax & have a few drinks while me & DD finish up princess stuff at MK & then we can meet them for a quick bite. DH gets cranky after several hours in MK. We actually prefer to sit outside since we are from snowy Northeast. Although I do want to poke my head inside to check it out!

At opening I have never seen the outside Terrace busy and we've always gotten inside when arriving shortly before 4 pm (3:30 - 3:45 pm arrival). If it's crowded (and I don't think it will be), they could also go up to Tambu Lounge to get some drinks. It isn't outside, but it's still nice!
