Trade forum question?

I could not help but notice while on the rent/trade forum site that all postings seem to be rental of points but no trading, why is that? Am I missing something or can you trade your home resort window(11 months) with another DVC member whose home resort is different?If so how do you go about this, I know all postings and requests belong on the trade forum site but I wanted to look into this for future possibilities.

Yes, trades bewteen DVC members for reservations are welcome as are trades listed by non-members looking for a DVC reservation in exchange for their timeshare.

While most listings are indeed for rentals, trades are welcome and have been listed from time to time. These listings don't always seem to get a lot of activity, but you never know who might be interested in a trade to another location- DVC or otherwise.
