I just received this in my email:

You can get a Free cellphone with 1-year card, and it now comes with 570 minutes ~ that's 9 1/2 hours!
I have this model and really like it because it doesn't charge me roaming:
TracfoneNokia1100.jpg

We've used it to call each other in the parks and to call home~ save on roaming & those Disney room phone charges. Tracfones work great in Orlando!

*Bonus:
1) This phone comes with a nationwide, one-rate "no roaming" feature.
2) Get $5.49 from QuickRewards (they have Disney Dollars)
3) Get 100 Free minutes with a Referral**
(**PM me if you need one)
4) Plus 200 more free minutes use promotional code 54027 when adding 1-year card

LINK: www.Tracfone.com

Here's how the cost breaks out:
$99.99 = Phone (reg $19) + 250 minutes (reg $49) + 1 Yr card (reg. $99)
+ 0.00 = Free 20 minutes when activating online
+ 0.00= 200 Free minutes with code 54027
+ 0.00 = 100 Free minutes ($30 value) with referral **
------------------------------------------
$99.99 = Phone + 470 minutes + 1 Yr Card
- 5.49 = QuickRewards earned
------------------------------------------
$94.50 - Phone + 570 minutes + 1 Yr Card
+ 4.95 Shipping
------------------------------------------
$ 99.45 Total (+tax)

:cool1:

(Apparently this offer replaced the old offer on the Motorolla v170 phone)

Thanks so much for posting this! I have been looking at them for my mom's friend who is 80 and sometimes gets lost when she is out driving around, but doesn't want the expensive month-to-month contract. This is perfect and lots of minutes too! Thanks! :thumbsup2

How do you get a referral?

Anyone with a current Tracfone can give you a referral. They just send you an email and the link for the free minutes is inside it. Hope this helps!

Cool thanks for the tip. I will have to tell my Mom, she liked borrowing mine at Disney.

Could someone email me a referral when they got a chance?

TRACFONE's One-year card now comes with FREE Motorola v170 if you need a cell phone for emergencies or limited-use.

We already have a Tracfone Nokia 1100 and love it. We've used it to call each other in the parks and to call home~ save on roaming & those Disney room phone charges. Tracfones work great in Orlando!

But our kids have been begging for a *flip* phone because it's more....cool.. :rolleyes2 ?!!

So this offer made us give in. We referred ourselves (100 free minutes) and plan to use it when we travel or the kids spend the night away from home.

:woohoo:

I tried this and after I clicked-thru and entered zip code of 40220, the offer was only until March 9, and only on a refurbished phone.

Also I hate to be thick, but when it says 1 year service, does that mean you have up to a year to use the minutes you purchase, or does it mean in 1 year your deal is up and you need to start over regardless of how many minutes you've either purchased or have remaining?
Thanks.

Edited to add, this may be crazy, but I clicked on the flip phone deal and low and behold the offer date was through 3-21. :lmao:

It also says "out of stock".

No, the minutes do not expire as long as you add on before your expiration date.

I own this phone and it's a great one. My son has a Tracfone and we also used the referral. Nothing like free minutes!

I use Tracfone mostly because I don't use my phone a lot. I had AT&T for the 2 year plan and used about 200 mins the whole year. No need to spend nearly $50 a month for that!

I have this phone too, and I love it. We used it a ton last month due to a family emergency, and it worked great. DH has a different one they are offering. The Motorola V60i. He likes it too, it was 139$ for his phone and a one year prepaid double minute card (300 minutes and when you buy more, it is automatically doubled for the year), but he likes mine better because there are no roaming charges. We did the referral thing as well, so ended up with over 400 minutes, since it also comes with 20 starter minutes.
He went to Florida in January, and drove home and used my phone all the way. The only place he had no service was in Tennessee. We live in Northeastern PA, right at the NY, NJ, PA border and it worked great in every other state on the way home.

Can someone please send me a referral?

This is perfect for my soccer playing child as she carpools to practice now. I hate not being able to contact her/or her me.

Thanks,

Angie

How do you go about getting this deal? I have looked all over their website and I can't figure it out. It asks me my zip code and I put that in and it only comes up with one phone. It is a phone I don't want because I would like a flip phone. So I was wondering if I am just not seeing it or if it won't work for my zip code? Thanks!!

Jay, certain tracfones do not work in certain areas. I used to sell Tracfones on eBay and asked everyone to email me their zip BEFORE they bid because certain phones do not work for certain zip codes.

They ask for your zip and tell you the best option for your area. If the flip phone is not listed it will not work there.
