Dads birthday
We bought him a Grumpy baseball cap, which he has never taken off since!! So i guess he liked it!
Epcot today, i forgot to mention that everyday so far at least one ride we rode broke down & Leanne freaked out everytime...especially on dinosaur at AK, although it was pretty cool to see everything with the lights on - not half as scary! Well today we did mission space, Leanne was too scared to do this on our last trip, but with the introduction of the less intense version she decided to give it a go. I was the engineer, & was happily playing the part whilst waiting for it to start...pressing lots & lots of buttons, Gary jokingly says dont do that we will proberbly break down again! Guess what, as soon as he said it right on que all the lights go out...Leanne freaks out! Saying mum you've broke it!! It was only a couple of minutes & once my DD had calmed down she actually enjoyed the ride
Soarin was amazing & we managed to do it twice, we also got to ride the new Nemo, clam shells, i really enjoyed it, impressive effects
Tried a few food booths for lunch at the food & wine festival, loved the cheese soup in canada & everything in Morroco, had a zinfendell in the US. & can you believe Leanne had fish & chips in the UK!!!!!!!
We had yet another ADR for the San Angel Inn for dads 'official' birthday dinner, we had tried to get in this restaurant on our last 2 trips & not had any success, so this time i made sure! It was ok very authentic, i liked it cos the menu was unusual! Would i go again? Proberbly not next time, too many other places i want to try
Finished the evening off with a wonderful spot to watch illuminations, when they had finished we decided to hang around & let the crowds go after reading on the Dis that it would be better to do that than waiting ages for the all stars bus. As usual great advice
We waitied a while then decided to walk around world showcase, hardly anyone about & when we went for the bus no one was there we got straight on! It amazes me how efficient WDW is all those people 'magicaly' dissappeared within such a short time!!!
