Even though we were up late the night before we were still up early in the morning. Mam & dad were especially happy as it was a non-park day and they could have breakfast out lol! By the time we’d had a swim and headed out – the Ponderosa was heaving so we decided to try IHOP instead ! Nice but we are all agreed that we prefer a buffet. We had to make a couple of detours that day – the brakes on our van were starting to grind horribly and the car dad had been given hadn’t had a full tank of fuel (he’d pre-paid) so we arranged to pick up a new van and had to visit the Rodeway Inn to top up the fuel tank. The Mall wasn’t particularly busy for a Sunday and we decided to split up so that we wouldn’t bore each other with our shop selections ;) I love the Aveda shop (costs in $$ what I usually pay in ££ over here), The Children’s Place (excellent kids’ clothes) and of course The Disney Store ! I don’t know why people shop in the parks or DTD when the stuff is on sale in TDS ?? Because of Hallowe’en the costumes were on sale – all at least 25% off !! Really wish I’d waited to buy Rachelle’s birthday present (Aurora dress) !! Bought Belle a beautiful Ariel dress for $24 :D All the princess dolls were $10, princess T-shirts $6 each and there was a huge sale rail as well – bought some lovely Cindy sweatshirts for Xmas pressies for less than $5 each ! :jump:

Spent out for the day we headed back to the Villa for a steak and a swim…again !

That evening we decided to go to Seaworld for Shamu’s Spooktacular – we were really getting our money’s worth out of the funcards ! The girls dressed up in their witch costumes and we headed out about 5pm – just as it was getting dark. At the parking lot entrance we were given ‘treasure maps’ with clues on how to find our way around the trick or treat stations.

Rachelle absolutely loved this – she could read the clues herself and navigate from the map, it made her feel really clever :angel We followed the clues through the Waterfront, filling the girls bags with candy as we went, and across the bridge which was filled with pirates (real ones as opposed to skeletons!). They were all telling stories, play fighting with the kids (there were loads of guests dressed up as pirates too !) and generally interacting – it took us ages to get across as the girls wanted to cast spells on every group we came across lol !!

There was a disco area set up outside the Wild Arctic pavilion

so we had to stop and had a dance with the 8 foot tall flamingos and dolphins ! We paid a visit to Shamu’s Happy Harbour where there was cookie decorating and mask decorating. The night-time Shamu show was the House of Douse … and it rocked !! It was packed and a totally different show to any I’d seen before. There was a lot of dance, a Matrix style section, multiple whales and trainers performing simultaneously and lots and lots of splashing !!

We then went to the water ski stadium for the fireworks show – a pirate themed extravaganza with ghosts and goodies and baddies etc – love it !!

Tomorrow – our first character meal – the Princess Storybook breakfast in Epcot ! :D

Excellent report so far with brilliant photos.

Looks like you are having a brilliant time after the horrors of day one. Can't wait for the next instalments.
