Wed 22nd
Today was D-Day (Disney Day) and I managed to get everyone out reasonably early. I exchanged my AP voucher and we were in !! We got the ferry boat across to the Magic Kingdom so that we could have a look at the Poly from the Lagoon (we usually get the monorail).
The girls were happy as Chip n Dale were on the boat too and they got to go upstairs and see the Castle.
First stop was fastpasses for Peter Pan, then Dumbo as the line was only 15 mins and the carousel whilst mam & dad wandered and got a feel for Disney.
Early lunch again chicken strips & mac n cheese at the Columbia Harbour House. Mam & dad wanted to do the Hall of Presidents so we went to get fastpasses for Splash Mountain and to take the girls on the Magic Carpets. By this time Annabelle was fast asleep so I missed out on this one. We then spotted Aladdin (or should I say Steve spotted Jasmin !!)
The girls had a play in Ariels Grotto whilst I joined the line to meet Ariel. It was a very hot wait but worth it as she is Annabelle's favourite!!
Next fastpasses for Winnie the Pooh whilst we went to see Mickeys PhilHarmagic (wait time 5 mins). This was excellent, Annabelle loved it even though she wouldnt keep her glasses on, Rachelle was petrified (wimp!:nono ) and mam & dad thought it was fantastic :clap
We were all flagging by this time it was about 85 degrees most of the time we were there - but we decided to stay for the afternoon parade and cooled off with a pineapple dole whip ! Watched the parade (which I didnt enjoy as much as Remember the Magic) in Frontierland and caught it again on Main St on our way out.
Our next stop was the Courtyard by Marriott at Downtown Disney to pick up dads car (where we witnessed an accident in the car park!) and of course to visit the World of Disney, mainly to window shop.
We were all well and truly knackered after that so back to the Villa and back in the pool for a change ! WE had planned to go back to MK to watch Spectro that evening but we were too tired. I think we ate in Ponderosa (not particularly impressed with dinner - prefer their breakfasts)
Next instalment - Universal
Day 5 - A surprise
