Tuesday 4th November
Our last full day I wanted to go to MGM ( I wanted to buy some Home Improvement merchandise for Steves Christmas present and for Annabelle to see the Stars & Cars parade she was asleep last time) but once again I was over-ruled. We were in Disney so off we went to Universal
First stop was IOA where we visited Seuss Landing for Cat In The Hat, One Fish Two Fish and the Caro-Seuss-el, then we made a complete circuit of the park where Rachelle had great fun with the talking fountain, the queue for the Pteranodon flyers was horrendous (still havent done this), Steve did Spidie and I did the Hulk.
:
Then round to the Studios where the queue for Shrek was too long but we did ET again and I bought some Princess Fiona T-shirts for the girls and a Princess Fiona cup for Steve (all with 20% off of course gotta love that AP discount). The plan then was to go to MGM for a late lunch and to see the parade, then me take Disney transport with the girls to Epcot and then the monorail back to the Poly (they love the monorail) but Rachelle wanted to buy a Mulan dress with the rest of her birthday money so we made a detour into DTD But there were none left !! A very helpful CM told us that theyd only been brought in for the Halloween market and the surplus had now been sent out to the outlet stores did we know where Belz was ? Off to Belz we trundled but still no dresses. Bit of a wasted afternoon really so we headed back for another swim in the Volcano pool.
It was quite busy so we switched to the quiet pool (which we could see through the palm trees from our balcony).
We had a late last night dinner booked Cinderellas Gala Feast (Id booked this in lieu of CRT) so we got changed and headed for the beach (via the lounge for a glass of wine and to sample the sushi) to watch Wishes again
before heading for the Grand Floridian.
Dinner was good but to be honest wed had such a tiring day that none of us were in the mood and the girls were dead on their feet. The girls were happy as they got to see Cinderella and Prince Charming together for the first time.
We rushed back from dinner to try to get back to the concierge lounge before 10pm (when the cordials were put away lol !!) Steve ended up carrying Annabelle while I rushed from the Great Ceremonial House to Hawaii and managed to get some drinks and a plate of nibbles to take up to our room. The girls were fast asleep in no time so we spent a pleasant half hour on the balcony with coffee, liquers and desserts. :cocktail:
Tomorrow we go home
