TR LINK POSTED! - 14 ADRs PLUS F & W!? Our 10th Anniversary Pig-Out! An Oct 2013 PTR

Ali, catching up...again.

I love the new suitcase...and it's my favorite color. :) And got to love the pixie dust of it being half paid for by a surprise person.

I was going to say don't worry so much about the Tusker House ADR (I've not gotten anywhere near that in my TR yet), but we won't be back for awhile.

Love the new plans...they sound great.

Uh oh! I hope your TH ADR wasn't horrible!

Ahh the suitcase!!! So glad you found it, after driving all over CT looking for it! That reminds me, I was in Target the other day, and I noticed their luggage section is looking pitiful...everything was black! What happened to all of their nice stuff? :confused3

Not that I can buy luggage right now lol. And when I do, it's gonna be Vera Bradley. So I gotta start saving so I can afford it in 5 years.

Yay you got the Tusker situation figured out! It's about time!:banana::banana: I LOVED Tusker House in Feb with my sister and niece, the characters are awesome and the food was really good! If I didn't love Boma so very much, I'd go to Tusker on every AK day! :cool1:

Not horrible, just very rude hostesses and very slow service.

Hopefully it was just someone having a bad day!

I know, right!? I was wondering the same thing! The first Target we went to had like, 3 things on the shelf. Literally. It was like someone came in and just gutted the whole aisle. The 2nd store had more but it was ALL black and they didn't have anything that was carry-on size...it was all the huge ones that cost like $200. When I first saw this particular one months ago, I had a very hard time choosing it because there were so many other options that were different colors! I went with this one because I like it better overall, but yeah...they're seriously lacking in the variety of colors!

:rotfl2: I wish the actual Disney suitcases they sell weren't so dang expensive! And I wish they offered more sizes, too! :confused3

I'm so happy I finally figured it all out! I really wanted to make our Resort Day the day we switch to BWV, but I wanted Tusker House and Sanaa more so...done deal! :thumbsup2 And I'm thinking that we might stay at AKV every time we go to Disney now, just so I can eat at Boma at least once on every trip... :scratchin

So now that today is over, we officially have TWENTY DAYS LEFT!!!!

That means that after tomorrow we'll be in the TEENS!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

I already have most of my clothes packed, as well most of our toiletries and stuff like that. I have a few more things to pack as we get closer and I still have to do all of Lumar's packing.

I also accidentally ordered a second set of Magic Bands! Since it's still in the test phase and we're staying at two resorts that are both participating, I got two invites. So, in a panic, I called Disney thinking I was gonna have to bring two sets of bands but she told me to just deactivate one set, and basically anything registered to the MDE app will be automatically linked to whichever bands are active. Now that I know more about how they work, it's really pretty cool! I linked our park tickets to them but I'm not sure if the Halloween Party Tickets link too? Anyone know?

On to DAY 9!

It never quite sat well with me that we had no ADRs planned for The Poly on this trip. We love both Kona and Ohana and I had skipped over both of them when making our original schedule. But then I was reading up on Jen's (Nermel9) TR about both Kona and Ohana and I knew I had to have at least one of them.

So we'll ultimately be headed here this morning:

But first, we'll detour here:

So that I can have me some of this:

That's right. ::yes::

Tonga Toast. :cloud9:

So after a magical day at the Magic Kingdom, we'll head back to BWV for some dinner here:

So we originally planned to do our big anniversary dinner at California Grill this night. But I didn't want to be at MK all day, only to go back to BWV to shower and change, then go BACK to MK for the purpose of monorailing to The Poly.

So, since we had an impromptu dinner at Big River our trip last summer and loved it, we decided to go back this year! The service was great, the food was great, and although it was busy, we never felt cramped or neglected. So we're definitely looking forward to our return visit!

After dinner, we might just hang out at the pool for a while... But with those park hoppers burning a hole in our...uhh...wristbands... we'll see!

We only have three more weeks to go before we leave and I know we're going to be super busy at work this week so hopefully it will go quickly! I can't believe our trip is so close! :bitelip:

Ali, happy almost "teen" day. I can't believe how fast the trip is approaching.

Your plans sound great for Day 9. I am so glad you added Kona. I actually cancelled ours for December (:worried:) due to the review of WCC's breakfast and the fact that we could then see the Christmas decorations there.

We've never done Big River Grille; I have never read a good review of it. :confused3

OMG, only 20 days! :goodvibes I'm so jealous.

Mmmmmmm. Kona. We've always done breakfast there, but this time we actually stopped for an impromptu dinner. It's such a great restaurant.

I know, it's coming up so fast!

I have no interest in WCC at all! The food always looks good when I see pics of it but...I just have reason to go all the way over there, I guess! :confused3

We're not foodies, by any means, so we often really enjoy meals that other people complain about for one reason or another. Most of the time, I don't even read reviews anymore because our opinions are usually so different. But we had good service and good food for the price so no complaints! Plus, we won't have far to go if we decide to call it an early night! :thumbsup2

We've only done Kona for breakfast and it's one of my favorites! I'm so glad I found somewhere to sneak it in! Plus, I mean, who DOESN'T want to visit The Poly!? :lovestruc

Wow I can't believe your trip is so close. I know I talk to you every day, but it just hit me that you're going in like 2 weeks! Hopefully when you come back, things will be much different for both of us! :thumbsup2

I've always been curious about Big River Grille, you never hear much about that place and the menu looks really good! It's nice that it seems to be one of those places you don't really need an ADR for either, convenient when you're staying at the Boardwalk! :dance3:

Don't feel bad because it just hit me this morning that we're leaving NEXT WEEKEND!!! I was omg I only have to wake up for work 5 more times!

We've only been to BRG that once and we had a really good time! I'm glad that we're really taking advantage of our resorts this year though, with ADRs and pool time scheduled in!
