Yes, I know.
I was supposed to do this update yesterday when we were FINALLY at....
But... you know. Life happens. So here I am, on this wonderful Saturday. And we're officially in the TWENTIES!!!!
Before I get on with our plans for the next couple of days, I had to share my new "baby."
It's not what you think.
And no, it's that OTHER thing you're thinking either.
I finally caved....
And bought......
A new.....
Suitcase!!!!!!!
It was $80 and every time we went to Target since we booked this trip in November, I would stare at it, longingly. Swiveling it around on it's four glorious wheels. Zippering and unzippering it. Imagining all of my Disney t-shirts folded nicely inside of it. And my old suitcase was...well....old. And beat to heck.
So the other day I came home from work and as I'm walking into our apartment building, I find something interesting on the ground.
As in, $40 worth of interesting.
Yup, 40 bucks just sitting there. No one around. No one looking through their windows. No one rushing around frantically, digging through their pockets.
Lumar and I went to Target that night so I could finally buy my suitcase. And it had to be THIS ONE because...
It's the OFFICIAL luggage of WDW! And it's purple.
And it spins.
So we race to Target when Lumar gets home from work. And guess what?
GONE. It sat there for nearly a YEAR. And now that I was ready to finally buy it, it was GONE! I almost cried. I was so upset that I didn't even buy the travel size packets of Downy Unstopables that were in the $1 section that I picked up on our way in.
A day or two later, we went to another Target. And guess what?
NOPE. Not there either!
We stopped at a third Target on our way home and
Third time's the charm, I guess!
And a big thank you to the nice stranger who helped pay for half of it.
So now it's Saturday, we're 29 days out.... and I think I'll start packing tonight!
But first, I wanted to share my big change in plans. Which is not so big and so far, not actually changing.
The original plan was Tusker House for breakfast on 10/16, spend the day at AK, go back to AKV for dinner at Sanaa, and then probably head to Epcot for a couple of hours.
But whilst perusing the Sanaa menu (and I admit, I have ZERO ideas about what prompted me to look at the menu...) I decided I preferred the lunch menu over the dinner menu. So I canceled our 6:30 ADR and changed it to 2:30.
Only problem is, Tusker House is scheduled for 9:45 and not only would that mean we'd have to cut our time at AK down to like 2-3 hours (and we normally stay at AK from open to close), it also means we'd only have about 3 hours in between meals. I tried getting an earlier ADR and no dice. So I thought, OK - we'll just change Tusker House to 10/21 instead. We have the whole day open for AK with no ADR for lunch or dinner.
Yeah. That's not happening either. I looked at the crowd forecast and AK is RED almost every day during our trip. And apparently, as I told my friend Jen, Tusker House is the new CRT! There is literally NO availability for breakfast during our whole trip!
I figured I would just switch some plans around and do things on different days to try to make this all work and it's not happening! I keep the website open and just keep hitting refresh, over and over all day in the hopes that someone, somewhere, will cancel their ADR and I'll manage to snag it. But in the event that we arrive in WDW and I was never successful, I'll most likely cancel the Sanaa ADR. I REALLY want to try it, but I'd rather spend a full day in the parks as opposed to ducking out early just to go back to the resort for lunch.
So anyway, that's that.

Oh look....it's Monday 10/21.....
And we'll be heading to....
Where, hopefully, we'll have breakfast at Tusker House but... let's not beat a dead horse.
Or a live one, for that matter.
We'll most likely stay to until the park closes, or at least close to it, and then we'll park hop to:

I am super excited to try Via Napoli! So many delicious things on the menu! And we'll probably order pizza.....
We'll stroll around World Showcase some more after dinner and then.....
On to DAY 9!
I just don't want to say what the new plans are until I actually finalize them! If I am able to confirm what I want earlier than Friday, I'll update sooner! 
I wasn't expecting it for another 2 weeks or so!
