Those are fabulous family photos!!! They turned out just great! You are going to have a hard time deciding which ones to buy!

I always wore my hair up in a ponytail, so it's weird to have it down all the time. She must have taken off about 4-5 inches!

So here's what I have started to stash away for our trip.

So floaties... I guess your not supposed to bring them onto Castaway Cay - But - they don't have any tubes for little babies. The one I got for Sky has the little leg holes so she doesn't fall out.
And I also got some mesh bags for out dirty laundry. (target $1)

I also couldn't help it...
Here are two new suites for Skylar I found on sale. I hope the one isn't going to be too small by the time we go!

She's going to be mad at me - cause as soon as she gets older I'm going to make sure she's covering up more!

Thanks! I got my haircut right before the pictures and still haven't been able to recreate the look. But I'm still trying =)

I'm so excited!! I put some Pottery Barn Kids stuff that I have had since Dexter was a baby (and never used) on ebay. And it's close to $200!!! Now I have no excuse not to purchase the Trip Insurance!!!

Ebay rocks sometimes!! But between the listing costs and the paypal fees you end up loosing 10%

So now I'm getting greedy... Do you think we (and by 'we' I mean me - behind my dh back ) Upgrade our first night to the WL? It will end up costing me another $120. BUT it means we won't have to change rooms.
What ya think?

OK So the Greed overcame me and I re booked our first night. So now we are staying at the WL for our entire first half of our trip!!!!
I was reading someone else's TR and they said that it didn't feel like their trip really started until they booked into their nice resort.
So this way I don't have to worry about our bags getting lost in transfer and staying packed... I think I am getting in WAY over my head

Now I have to change the way I am going to surprise Shawn. I think when we get to the airport I will check in at the Magical Express Counter and he can wait with the kids. Then I may let him attempt to walk into the POP line where a Cast Member will tell him that's not where he belongs.

Do you have any ideas!?!

I think I'm going to stick with a gift on the bed on the first or second night.

I'm too excited to sleep!!!

I'm subbing because even though we are going next fall (Sept. 09) for a family trip with my brother and my parents, our 10th anniversary is the next year (2010).

Our general Disney rule since we moved from Florida (where we went 4 or more times a year) to north Georgia is that we go every other year.

But, I'm thinking we're going to have to make a trip back in 2010 for our 10th anniversary, and we might finally do the cruise then too.

So I'm subbing to borrow (okay, steal if necessary) your ideas. It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun!

I've personally gotten my best ideas from Dis!! So borrow or steal as much as you would like!!
I have really enjoyed reading other peoples TR and then tweaking somethings to be fun for my family!! Good Luck!

Maybe you could ask the CM at the POP line to hold up a sign or something directing your DH over to the WL line? Like he won something? Or if it's not busy ask the CM at the WL line to invite your DH over to that line?

Or maybe make a t-shirt and when you get off the plane go into the bathroom and change and the shirt will say something about staying at the WL. That way you can see if your DH pays attention! :laugh:

Just make sure your DH likes public surprises. My DH would probably yell at me or not make a big deal about it cause he'd be embarrassed.

Hi there! New to your report but wanted to stop and say hi. I'm a surprise planning lover myself (hate surprises for me but LOVE planning them!!).

I totally agree with staying with your plan about surprising him while you're at Disney with everything. Trust me, as a surprise planner, you can explain anything! If he finds something in the suitcase he doesn't like, he can do the packing for the entire family.

Let me think on a way to share the hotel surprise! I know you can get those calls from Mickey on line-that might be a cool idea. Also, we're going in December. I would totally send your family a post card (from Mickey and gang) telling them they've been "upgraded" to a WL stay!

I'm working on some surprises for our upcoming trips in Sept and Dec-check out my PTR if you want some ideas.

Also, Betsy (a fellow dis'er) does wonderful baskets-you can send her the stuff (no food) and she'll do the basket for you. That's what I doing so I don't have to worry about hauling anything with me and getting into the room for a suprise. Very reasonably priced and she doesn't mark up the park merchandise that you put in your basket! there are pictures of my baskets for Sept in my PTR if you want to check them out. Betsy also helped with the disbotique and Creative DISigns board Big Give.

Happy Trip Planning! I'm having a very hard time keeping my mouth closed with all of the surprises! Thank goodness for the DIS boards or I would have blown it long before now!
