Toystoryduo’s Journal: Baby Steps are the Key... Celebrate Each Victory!

yay you had the pop party :)
It sounds lots of fun!
No sign of spring here :(
Heavy rain forcast for next 4 days! :(

Happy Spring everyone! :flower3: (As I say that with snow on the ground here.:lmao: ) I hope that the weather starts reflecting the change in season real soon.

Yesterday was an okay day. Instead of tackling my to do list, I got sidetracked by other things: I opened an investment account, cleaned out my DH's top dresser drawer:scared1: , and went to Walgreens for more eBay supplies. Today, I plan on working on finishing up Easter baskets, the treasure hunt, and getting my DH's birthday present wrapped. (His birthday is on Saturday.)

I worked out today....Power 90 Strength Circuits 1-2 and Ab Ripper. (Sounds painful doesn't it?:lmao: ) I am not happy at all with the way I feel right now. I am back to my all time high of 225 and boy is it frustrating! I've got to start taking action NOW before it gets even further out of hand. I'm going to sit down later on today and make a few goals for the rest of the month through April. I would love to be in Onederland when we go to WDW in September, but based on past history, 25 pounds may be too lofty of a goal.:confused3

I will try and come back later to update my goals. Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

Tracy...

I know the weight issue can be so frustrating. Just keep up with your workouts and the healthier eating seems to follow. Good job getting your workout in...start to build that momentum now that you are feeling better.

Hi!

I'm glad to hear you finally had your Pop party! How fun is that!
Glad to hear you got your ADRs for the trip. It always seems more "real" after that.

Good for you for getting that great workout in! One step at a time! I KNOW you can do it! :cheer2:

Hi, Tracy. I feel your pain on the weight issue. It will happen, as long as you don't give up!

I admire your creative energy and spirit - you get so much accomplished for your family, I hope they appreciate you!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Susan

Thanks Amy, pearlieq, and Jen!:grouphug:

Good evening friends,

Happy Spring!:flower3: I'm glad that it's spring, but I wish the weather would cooperate. We're supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tonight. :(

I finally got the rest of the stuff for the girls' Easter baskets today. I still have to work on the treasure map though. I can do that while watching TV tonight or tomorrow.

I did a Power 90 workout yesterday and it felt good. :goodvibes The program calls for daily exercise, but for now, I think that's too much. I'm going to try alternating strength and cardio every other day. So tomorrow, I will do the cardio workout and then on Monday, I will do the strength workout. My DH may/may not join me in the workouts. He's still not feeling well. :(

Speaking of my DH, his 35th birthday is tomorrow! We bought him some Reese's eggs and a Cool Water gift set at CVS. (Everything under $5!!! )

Weekend Plans:

Saturday: DH"s birthday. He has to work. The girls may be going to my MIL's house to color Easter eggs.

Sunday: Easter egg hunt, treasure hunt and baskets at our house; Easter at my grandma's; Easter at a local hotel (with my in laws) that has a pool and putt putt for the kids

Hope everyone has a great weekend!:grouphug:

Hey Tracy--sounds like you have had a busy couple of weeks! I love reading about all the bargains you find while shopping....I wish I was that good!!!

The Pop Party sounds like so much fun....the girls must have had a BLAST!!

Great job on those ADR's for September....Le Cellier is GREAT!! It is funny that you say that Le Cellier is hard to get..I thought the same exact thing, and I got it. But when we went in January, we get there and the place was half empty!!!!! They were turning people away at the door that were coming up and just trying to get in, yet the place was half empty..it didn't make sense to me.

Keep your chin up about the exercise. As someone else said, take it one step at a time, one day at a time. You can so do it, just stick with it.

Hope you have a great weekend!!

Hey Tracy. :goodvibes Just stopping by to wish you (and your family) a very Happy Easter. :thumbsup2 You're really doing great with your workouts! I agree that every day is too much too. For me, if I do it every day - I burn out mentally and physically.

Have a GREAT weekend! And happy birthday to your DH! (I'll be 35 this year too....ugh)

Happy Easter Tracy :)
We got snow too :( only a dusting though!
The workouts sound fun :)
Hope DH has a great birthday :)

Hey there, I hope Easter and dh's birthday were fun! Did you get snow? We got a dusting and it was chilly all day. Where oh where is spring? I hope you aren't in that flooded part of the midwest?

We have a new week upon us, lets make it a good one! Great job doing those workouts, just do what you can, when you can. Happy Easter Wish Sis!:)

Hi Tracy,

I'm glad you had a nice Easter. The girls must have loved the put-put. As always, great deals. Have a yummy dinner tonight.

Take care,
Beth

Oh, I love Outback! That is great you had a nice Easter and great your inlaws did that thing at the hotel. What a treat for you and your girls! I am telling you, I need to take some shopping classes from you! Glad you had a night off out of the kitchen, "see" you tomorrow!

Thanks Beth and Amy!

We had a great time at dinner this evening! The food was delicious and the company was wonderful.:goodvibes

My DBro sent my girls their Christmas gift....A Play Station 2! The girls are so excited!:woohoo: :yay: They didn't get a chance to play much tonight because we were out, but they have all day tomorrow. ;)

I did get my strength and abs workout in today. That makes 330 minutes for the month.

I hope everyone has a good evening!:grouphug:

That's quite a gift! That ought to keep the occupied.

It's a slow week for deals, isn't it. I'm going to make a CVS run this week, but it's not too exciting.

Good job getting all those workouts in! :cheer2:

Thanks pearlieq.

Good afternoon friends,

I am completely exhausted today. TOM is looming on the horizon and I am just plain wiped out. :( We're going to leave in a few minutes for haircuts and later on, a trip to the library. After that, I think we'll stay home for the evening. Maybe we'll do some Disney planning or plan for a possible sleepover for the girls and my niece on Friday. We'll see.

I'll try and get to journals tomorrow. :grouphug:

Hi Tracy
Well done on the workouts :)
We did Outback when we went to Clearwater to get married - LOVED it :)
Hope TOM isnt too bad!
