Hi Scott! Thanks for stopping by!

Today was going to be a relaxing family day, but my DH picked up some extra work and will be gone most of the day. His buddy owns a limo service and he asked him to drive tonight. He's not driving a limo.I forget what kind of car it is... some kind of luxury sedan. So, he'll be gone from 12:00- 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.- 3:00 a.m. so it's just like he's working his other job. I have mixed feelings about this.... We could use the money, but he needs some time to wind down and relax too. At least he'll be in air conditioning! It's supposed to be hot, hot, hot today!

I'm not sure what we are going to do. My DH's cousin is back in town for a concert. He'll be singing from 7-8:00 p.m., but with it being so hot outside (concert's outside), I'm not sure if we are going to go or not. It will all depend on if my MIL is up to it or not after she gets off work this evening.

In the meantime, I will probably work on doing a super cleaning of the house since my DD3's birthday party is in two weeks. I'll be setting some stuff aside for eBay as well. Speaking of eBay, I'm hoping to get some items listed soon. Our Disney fund needs a shot of cash!

Speaking of Disney...... I'm pretty sure that September's trip is going to be a no go. The balance of the trip is due on August 3rd and unless a huge financial blessing (miracle) comes our way, it won't happen. I'm okay with that. We were going to go to celebrate our 10 year anniversary (July 20th) and my birthday (Sept. 19) in September, but I would be just as happy celebrating in December. I am bummed about the free dining though because we probably won't eat at the places we have chosen without the free dining. Maybe next year.... (I'm used to that with Cleveland sports teams.... maybe next year we'll win a championship. I've been saying that for many, many years now! )

As for my healthy eating/living journey.... I haven't weighed myself in weeks. Too afraid to. Once life settles down a bit and we can get into a routine, I will start back on the healthy living road. Right now, there is just too much going on in our lives for me to be able to focus on it.

Hi Tracy, I am so excited about your husband's interview! On Wednesday at 11:00 my time I am really gonna say a prayer he does indeed knock their socks off! Well, thats good about the limo thing but a bummer he will be gone tonight. I am so sorry about your September trip, maybe something will indeed work out, August 3 is still a few weeks away. Don't cancel until the last possible second! And you are right, there is always next year, you have a great attitude. Also, don't worry about not weighing etc. You are likely being more healthy than you give yourself credit for. Staying healthy emotionally is also important, you can only do so much at once. You are going through so much but things will improve and settle down and when they do, everything else will fall into place. Have a great weekend Tracy!

I am running very late this morning. Usually, I'm up around 7:00 a.m. and I got up at 9:45 a.m.! I probbaly won't be able to make it to journals today. I have laundry to do, straightening to do,and I have to work this evening. I will try and get to journals tomorrow.

Hi WISH friends....

I have a favor to ask you... If you have any words of wisdom for my DH for his interview on Wednesday, please share them with me and I will pass them on to him. He has had a tough year and this job would be a boost for him and a blessing for our family. It would allow us the security of a job, but the freedom to make other things (real estate, Prepaid Legal, communications) happen in the meantime. He would be working about 20 minutes from home Sunday-Tuesday, 12 hours a day. Please, please, please send all the prayers, good thoughts, and you can. We really appreciate it!

I probably won't get to journals tomorrow because I have a crazy busy day ahead of me...... I hope to get back to journals on Wednesday or Thursday. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm WISHing you the BEST!!!!

Hi friends,

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement and good thoughts for my DH. Personally, I am feeling very off kilter this evening. It seems like the week after TOM is getting much worse than the week before. My emotions have been so up and down this week, I'm giving Rock'n Roller Coaster a ride for it's money!

In any event, tomorrow is THE DAY! My DH is cool as a cucumber and I'm as nervous as a bee. I'm thankful that he is the one interviewing and not me. I'm a bundle of nerves.

I hope to post tomorrow evening and then I hope to get to journals on Thursday.

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! I printed out your kind words and suggestions for DH and read them to him this morning. Thanks!

The interview..... DH called me about an hour after the interview started to say that he was done already. He said that he thought he hit a homerun, but that he won't know anything for 2-3 weeks!?!?! Is that normal to have to wait so long? The man that interviewed him said that my DH was lucky because the hiring process used to be 4Xs as long! Wow.... So, in any event, we are waiting yet again for things to happen. I am hoping that my DH and I get a chance to get out Friday night (our 10th anniversary is tomorrow) and talk about the future. Sigh.... Life can be so hard sometimes.

Today is in fact our 10th wedding anniversary. It's kind of a bittersweet day because of all of the stress and uncertainty in our lives. It's also bittersweet because my anniversary gift this year was supposed to be the trip to Disney in September. All in all, I think this is going to be a tough day. (It's also the week post TOM which is always very emotionally up and down for me.)
