It's been awhile since I have posted....Sorry about that.

August is a very busy month for us so I may not post as often as usual.....
We had a great weekend! The best part of the weekend came yesterday....My DH earned a $100 tip from deejaying so he took me to get some clothes yesterday. We went to the Lane Bryant Outlet and I got 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, and a pair of capris. As I was trying on clothes yesterday, I started in on my negative thinking about my weight and how I look. After a few minutes, I was reminded of how much God loves me as I am. Not when I lose the weight, but right now. That stopped the negative thinking in it's tracks!

This is a victory for me because after trying on clothes, I usually dwell on the negative for days. It affects my mood, my behavior, and of course, my food choices. Not this time!

* Straighten up the house
* Disney planning
* Journaling
I wanted to mention....I am reading a book right now called
When Food is Your Best Friend & Worst Enemy by Jan Johnson. It is a wonderful book that has provided me with a lot of food for thought. (pun intended

) I'm learning some news ways to deal with my emotions, rather than stuffing them down with food.
