Toys R Us Mystery deal MUST HAVE SCANNER APP

I didn't see this posted yet, so I thought I would! There is a "mystery deal" in this weeks ad for Toys R Us. Its one of those scanner things that you have to have an app for on your Iphone or Android phone. It is for $14.99 for ANY Tony Hawk, DJ Hero or Guitar Hero BUNDLE for ANY game system! It is one per customer.

Supposedly they ended the offer already because it was glitched to work on stuff it wasn't supposed to like the Guitar Hero 6 Full Band Kit for the 360 (it was not supposed to work on full band kits, only guitar bundles).

I didn't get an add so I looked at it online. The mystery item- when clicked on said to scan it with your phone or text to ---- and I did it that way.

I tried and my husband tried at our TRU store first thing this morning. They said that corporate had limited the coupon this morning because they were losing too much money on it. Even though my store had 2 Tony Hawk bundles, and a guitar hero bundle, it would not accept the coupon. The manager told us it was some sort of glitch and that there was no way to over ride the system to give it to us. So frustrating, to say the least!
