Long story short, we buy tons of toys @ Christmas for charity. Over the years I have become pretty good at negotiating directly with toy manufacturers for bulk toy orders...this deal beat all of them.
Preschool board games are on sale for $3.99
If you buy $25 in Hasbro games you get a $10 gift card for Toys R Us
Additionally there is a mail in rebate for $2.00 per game
Here is what I bought:
Candy Land
Chutes & Ladders (Disney Princess Edition)
Memory (Toy Story Edition)
Hi Ho Cherry-O
Cootie
Don't Spill the Beans
Don't Break the Ice
Receipt total with 8.25% sales tax $30.23
Toys R Us gave me a $10.00 gc
Mail in rebate value $14.00 or $2.00 per game (and you don't have to cut the games apart for the rebate, perfect for donating)
As far as I am concerned I just spent $6.23 for 7 board games (which should make a couple of kids happy this holiday season) or 89 cents each.
How I love a deal!
