I read on another website about a Toy Story Parade in MGM Studios. There wasn't much information on the website about it. Does anyone know if they still hold this parade? My niece and nephew absolutely love Toy Story!! We're going next month and want to see anything related to Toy Story. :)

Well they have the stars and motorcars parade, woody and buzz have car in it. I'm not sure if thats what your talking about. But that is the parade there, and its really cute.

I remember seeing it when DH and I went in 96 and 97, but don't remember it last year. It was definitely a different parade with all different characters in it.

Unforunately, the Toy Story parade is long gone. However, they do have a float in the Stars & Motorcars Parade at the Disney-MGM Studios. Toy Story character meet-and-greets are held at Al's Toy Barn at the Studios, The Diamond Horseshoe in the Magic Kingdom's Frontierland, and at The Timekeeper in the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. Be sure to ride Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. Also, there is a whole section of the All Star Movies Resort themed to Toy Story. See also Tin Toy Stories in the Japan pavillion of the World Showcase at Epcot.

Whew! :crazy2: Am I forgetting anything? :scratchin

Yes, I believe the Toy Story parade dates back to the movie's original release in 95. I think the Hercules parade replaced it 2 years later, followed by the Mulan parade, and then Stars and Motor Cars.

As mentioned already, Stars and Motor Cars does have a Toy Story segment. Buzz and Woody are on the car while Jessie, Bo-Peep, and the Green Army Men dance around it.

There's also a great Toy Story meet and greet area with an Al's Toy Barn backdrop right behind Muppet Vision and New York Street (now Big City Street).

My DS LOOOOOOOOOOOVES Toy Story

it would be awesome to have them bring that parade back with the release of the 10 year anniversary DVD of Toy Story!

Thank you for the information. I knew it was a long short but I was hoping. We always do the meet and greet at Al's Toy Barn and the Buzz Lightyear ride but I was hoping for something new. I'll check out the suggestion about Epcot though. The Toy Story Parade sounded great though! :sad1: Oh Well.
