I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but the 'Creative' section seemed the best fit.
TEMPLATES AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE BELOW
After a recent trip to WDW and Toy Story Mania my wife and I were inspired to do a room for our youngest son based on Andy's room from Toy Story 1 and the Toy Story Mania ride theming.
The walls were first painted blue and the wainscoting was put up. We made templates for the big and small clouds and then we set forth on laying them out so they best resembled Andy's room. The clouds were painted first in a very light grey. We made another couple other templates for the highlight on the cloud that we came back and sponged in white that matched the wainscoting.
This is what we came up with.

This series of pictures will start pointing East and turning counter clockwise.

Templates and Instructions (when I say I, I mean we, my wife and I):
I made 3 separate templates from the one image below:
1. Small Cloud
2. Large Cloud
3. Highlights of Large Cloud
I first took the large and small cloud templates and painted (small roller) those in a very light grey on the wall. The layout was the most time consuming I thought. After all the clouds were painted on in the very light grey I then took white paint with the same large and small cloud templates and added (sponged) the highlight to each of the clouds individually. Take notice that the large cloud has highlights that extend into the inner portions of the cloud. This is where I made the second large cloud template so that I could add the inner highlights. It really is just templates, layout and time.
I have access to spent x-ray film and that was what I used to make my templates. I think you could cut them out of poster board if you were really hard up, but I am sure all of you creative people will have some substitute.
