Toy Story 3 movie deals-$8 coupon NOW LIVE-link in first post

I just got back from Target, and I had to get the one with the Buzz. I really don't want that, but I wanted a digital copy and it was all they had left.

I went to Target last night and they were already out of the combo bluray/dvd/digital pack. It did not look like they had that many to begin with. They had tons of the regular DVD, and several of the Buzz toy combo pack but I did not want that. I drove down the street to Best Buy where they had tons and tons of the combo bluray/dvd/digital pack.

Our Target was out of combo packs, but still had Blue Ray DVDs for $19.99 which I was able to use the coupon on. We didn't need both anyway.

I went to WalMart this morning, with another coupon and they had tons of the combo pack for $24.96 so I will return my Buzz pack to Target.

Hopefully someone can answer this one:

The past few Disney releases on a DVD/Blu-Ray Combo pack have been released in two types of packaging. One type looks like a DVD sized box & the other type looks like a Blu-Ray sized box (AND IS BLUE!!).

My Target only had the combo packs in a Blu-Ray sized box for the Toy Story 3 Combo Pack.

Anyone know if there was also a DVD sized box Combo Pack released? I do know that there was just a plain DVD, but that's not what I mean.

Thanks!!!!

Alright... tell me what I need to know. I just got back from Indiana, and a very long 15hr drive.

I started with the TRU deal... So I have my pre-order copy at TRU and $10 gift card from the Tink movie. I can't really think of a reason to shop at TRU for anything else, so holding onto the gift card isn't really the best idea.

Are there any other coupons/deals I need to know about?? I've just have the $8 Disney Coupon. I'm planning on heading over there tonight.

Are you in the market for any other Disney movies? If you buy $40 of Disney movies you get a $10 gift card. This worked for me with the total being $50 before coupons, my final was much lower. You also get a free TS3 clock with purchase of TS3 blueray and a free TS3 popcorn tin with $30 TS purchase (whiche the bluray alone qualifies you for). Hmmmmmm. I think that's all, unless you're looking to buy toys, too, which is a whole 'nother ballgame! :rotfl: Best of luck!

Man I thought I was going to be frisked in Walmart. They had never "seen" a coupon like that before. It had to be approved by 4 people. FINALLY after showing the words "COMBO PACK" on the blueray to them all of those times, I lost it. Said forget it I'll buy it at Target. _ surprise surprise they took the coupon at Walmart then.

I won't go through that again at Walmart. Next time I'll buy the movies elsewhere. But I did get the 4 disc combo for $21.

So there's no other store discounts or coupons I need to know about. I really wasn't planning on buying a second movie, and I don't know what I'd do with another $10 gift card.

I'm looking forward to the Fantasia release, but if there's nothing else dealing with that, I don't think it's worth it for another gift card.

I get this same reaction with all the big dollar DMR coupons. It's like I landed from outer space and they have never seen these things. Hello? You're Wal-Mart-Target-Best Buy, you've never seen these coupons before?

I had Best Buy tell me with a Tinker Bell DMR coupon that they could not accept it because the total price was lower than the coupon dictated....which was bunk because those coupons say nothing about total price.

Last night with Best Buy the guy looked and looked and looked at the coupon, did finagling to punch it, had to do math in his head to get the right final price. It worked but boy....you're right, it's like you're getting away with something.

Alright, wound up with Oceans as well. Walked out paying $25 out of pocket. I'll scan the receipt when I get home.
35$ - Toy Story 3
20$ - Oceans
0$ - wall clock
-------------
-8$ DMR coupon
-6$ TRU nature coupon
-3$ TRU TS3 coupon
-10$ TB gift card
and I also got another 10$ gift card.

Here's my receipt... I think I did pretty good. I know it's not the nicest thing to do, but I think I'll use the $10 gift card to upgrade the Oceans DVD to a blu ray combo pack (return the dvd version w/ no receipt and purchase the blu ray). I believe it's gonna be one of those movies that are best seen in hi def on a big screen. DVD won't do it justice.

I am bummed that the toys r us that I go to never got the coupon book in that you were supposed to get with Beauty and the Beast. So I did not have the coupon that was for Mater's tall tales.

Used my $8 coupon as well, checked my Best Buy Rewardzone balance and had a $10 certificate to be used. Retail at Best Buy was $34.99 but it was on sale for $24.99, with my certificate and coupon I got it for just over 6 bucks! Awesome!:)

TRU will not accept return without receipt (original or gift receipt). One time I tried to return a item 1 day past the 90 days with the original receipt and TRU refused to accept the return, not even for merchandise credit

I am really fustrated when to WalMart tuesday to get my movie and they did not come i. Go back Wednesday and they came in that day but they did not have any blue ray combo pack. Go back today and still no combo packs. I am about to lose it. We live in a small town and Walmart is the only store here that has them and the closest other store to get it is 30 miles away.

Struck out at Walmart. Went to the store with a printout of the walmart.com price for the DVD as $24.95. Would not refund me the difference from the $29.99 that I paid. Ended up returning the DVD and will try to get to Target sometime soon.

I have found that Wal-mart will not match price on Wal-mart.com pricing or other wal-mart pricing...so I took my Target ad to Wal-mart and they will match that pricing.

My local Walmart won't match Target because its 30 miles away. I've been told that its at the store's discretion to determine how much of a distance they will consider to price match.

Does anyone think there'll be Black Friday sales I can hope for?

Ok so I am late catching up on here, but I bought mine at Target with the action figure and used my coupon no problem. Tonight I went to TRU and they refunded my $5 deposit with no poroblem. I thought they would give me a hard time because I ordered BATB and it has been a week since the release, but the lady told me it was not an issue at all. I had surgery last Wednesday and today was the first day I have been able to get out and my mom had to take me. One more question for those of you that have opened yours already. I was wondering if the digital copy has an expiration date. I wanted to put mine up for my little boy for christmas, but if it has an expiration date then I will go ahead and give it to him now.
