Towns to stop South of Valdosta, GA

We leave Fri and it will be our first time driving. We an on stopping in Valdosta. If the kids are doing good and we want to keep going- What's another town to stop?

Also, if we astop in Valdosta- is there a grocery nearby?

After Valdosta, Lake City Florida, Gainesville is a college town, and Ocala has some nice choices too!
