I hooked up my DVD Recorder and successfully made a DVD from my TIVO-type cable box in under 3 hours (!!)

Next time, ask a female to help (as usual!)

I'll be thinking of you at the Adventurers Club in January ...

Cool:D

Did you get the box from your cable company?

May I ask how you like it?

They are going to be using them in our town and Dh was wondering if people like them-he works for the cable company.

Thanks in advance.

My cable company, Time Warner Cable, is starting to roll out the Personal Cable Recorders (I'm not sure what they are called). They are the same concept as TIVO. It's an additional $9.95 a month, but it's perfect for me!! I was taping some shows during the day to watch in the evening, and while that was OK, this is even better! It's very easy to use, and well worth the extra money.

The DVD Recorder is my "toy" for the year. It wasn't too bad to figure out (it did take some thought and luck). I still have to transfer my video tapes. Thank goodness for a 4-day weekend!
