I am definitely doing this race, but I too am a little annoyed about the Minnie coupon . I don't think this race will fill up for a while, so I'm going to wait and see what kind of tempting discounts might come up.

I just talked to Disney and they will create the DVC app in a few days and email it to me.

Disney always has a DVC/Cast member seperate race app. You can save $5 per person vs online. Plus not Active.com fees

Minus, you have to spend 39 cents for a stamp

Tara - for the Disney races, usually there is a DVC member discount. $5 maybe. But you have to mail in the application with a copy of your ID card.
