I remember hearing that there were re-furbing TOT and they were doing 1 elevator at a time to keep from shutting down totally? Has it happened....going to happen? Don't see anything about on any board or any refurb report?TIA!

Not only that, but yesterday it was also closed for a good portion of the day. My teens were bummed, but they did manage to score a FP+ for SDD to make up for it.

On the flip side, when we were there in May RNRC was down for several hours at rope drop which significantly increased the TOT wait times.

i'm super bummed about it. we are going this week and couldn't secure a FP (obviously) and am wincing at the expected wait times for it.
but likewise was able to get other good FP's in its' absence

We were there in May and 1 elevator was done for rehab. Had a FP, and glad for it as the standby line was over an hour and no FPs available. Supposedly, they are working on the other elevator now.

It's 2 elevators down, leaving 2 elevators up. And they have to keep their fingers crossed to keep those 2 elevators going. During our trip earlier this month 1 of the remaining 2 kept going down (or often both) so yeah, waits were awful when it was up at all.

It ended up being down for our DAH night and down for the morning we heading over for EMH

Yes, no different than any other ride/attraction on property. If it's down/out during your FP time, you get a replacement FP valid for select attractions (defined on the app)

I'm not sure BUT they completed work on one side by 6/14 as both sides were open and running that day where as earlier in the week the elevators on the left in the boiler room were tarped off. Was that 4- 5 weeks of work on the left side?

The two elevators were down during our trip 6/12-6/21, it caused major lines and FP lines to be longer than usual.

ToT is one of my favorite rides, we were bummed that it was partially down. But it's better than all the way down!

It's supposed to be completed by the end of August...just in time for SW:GE and the new tiered fastpasses at DHS...Yippee!!!
