Towels

Okay with the DVC, I know you get trash and towel service on Day 4. But initially how many towels do they give you when you check-in if you are a party of 4. Just wondering what to expect for how often I will be doing laundry.

For a party of four you'd receive four each: bath towels, hand towels, washcloths.

For studios, you get four bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths since all studios only sleep four. For a one bedroom that sleeps four officially, you get the same. For a one bedroom that sleeps five, you get at least one more bath towel and face cloth. For two bedrooms that sleep eight, you get eight bath towels, four hand towels and eight face cloths and so on.

So it's not how many people you have in the room, but how many people the room officially will hold.

If you need more towels, you can purchase a towel pack that has the same as the studio for an additional $6 per pack. You'll need to repurchase that every time they perform the scheduled services.

We were a party of four & we had just that, 4 bath, 4 hand towels & 4washclothes. Whoever didn't hang up their towel got to dry off with a damp one next time around. I usually hung it over the chair out in the sun on the patio not the railing...big no no.

I believe it's 2.95 a towel to call for extras.

We got lucky the first time we stayed at AKL & they were gracious enough to send some up with the maid reminding us it's usually extra $.

Second time we stayed they said they'd charge us.
