Towel Animal Surprise

Well, after complaining on these boards about many visits to Disney and never getting a towel animal, guess what happened last week? We were staying at SSR and came back and our Mousekeeper had left us a zoo full of towel animals all over the condo. Our mousekeeper was really gifted with the towels, putting stickers on for eyes and everything. We didn't ask for them, just left a standard tip for Mousekeeping, but what a surprise! So the next day I left a "Thanks for the towel animals" note with my tip to Mousekeeping.

Did you take pictures? I want to see them if you did! We have never had a towel animal left for us...

The above link is from Allearsnet.com. It shows some of the towel animals they sometimes leave. When we stayed there they arranged my DDs stuffed animals as though they had spent the day at BB. They had made a "slide" using the towels and Tigger was going down while Pooh was watchin with sunglasses(forgot those in the room that day) on. The girls were tickled by it.

But you can't expect these things because sometimes they don't happen.

We did take pictures and once I can figure out how to upload them (technically challanged here I will be calling on DH to help me) I'll post them. We didn't have any Disney characters, but had birds and bunnies. They were pretty cute! Also, they did shell patterns with the towels in the bathroom (I've seen something similar done with napkins called the fan fold) and ring holders for the toothbrushes.

It was a nice surprise.

We just returned from WL and had towel animals each day. Always took the time to thank you mousekeeper. On Easter we had a group of bunnies!

have you ever gotten the towel figures while staying at a value. Our last trip was at a mod and everyday my kids looked foward to returning to the room to see what surprises were left.
