Tourist Centers on I-65/Indian/Kentucky

We have 5 cars that will be heading to Florida from Wisconsin in June. I think if everyone tries to stay together, it will take us forever to get there if we all stop every time someone needs to use a restroom. I'm trying to find a Tourist Center on I-65 that we could use as a meeting place and have lunch. With 11 children (6-14 years old), it would also give them time to stretch their legs for a while. I see there is one by Henryville, IN mile marker 22 and Shepherville, KY mile marker 114. Is anyone familiar with either of these stops? Would they have a picnic area?

I think I've been to the one in Shepherdsville (just south of the Louisville bypasses). Pretty sure they have picnic tables...all of Kentucky's rest areas have picnic areas.

We travel this route going from Michigan to Destin Florida. Shepardville is about 20 miles south of Louisville and is still kind of a busy place especially since the airport nearby is a hub of UPS. I would suggest looking at Elizabethtown (about 20 more miles) and your options might be better and less congested. It's hard to explain but once you get out of the Shepardville area it looks and feels more like country around Elizabethtown.
