TouringPlans - Sudden jump for crowd levels for Sept 1-7

My Touringplans.com crowd estimates jumped for both our; 1st week in December trip (not sure if this is a free dining period, I do know its during Pop Warner playoffs) and also; for our January 2016 (Marathon week) trip. It is depressing (not really.......but :-)) but is anyone really surprised.......crowd levels are climbing, even in so-called "slower" times. It is what is............the alternative is don't go.........right :P

The positive here, from my perspective, is this allows folks to plan accordingly. Wouldn't you rather be surprised by lighter crowds than heavier crowds?

I booked September 1st to 9th before realizing Labour Day was much later this year. Last year we did September 2nd to 10th (after the early Labour Day) and the crowd levels were low, it was great! Will the crowd levels be really much higher for my dates this year because of the holiday? Touring Plans has me really worried...

We've used TP for all of our last 4 trips.

3's are nothin. Based on our experience, 5's are when we actually notice higher crowds.

The last two trips, I tend to look at both TP and easyWDW and try to get a general consensus of best park days.

I wouldn't worry too much. We're in NJ and are historically one of the last states to go back to school and this year my wife (teacher) has to report back to school before Labor Day. Her students don't go back till the 8th, but all staff and faculty won't be able to be in WDW that week (As was our early plan). I'd guess the majority of states will already be back in session with students by then.

Not really to do with touringplans.com, but I do think the week you are going will be heavier crowds as people try to squeeze in that late summer vacation the week before school starts. Most schools around here start the day after labor day. That means schools still out for the week your going. Just my guess.
