I bought my first D&B last December and its almost ridiculous how happy it makes me! Someone on the bus gave me a 20% off coupon and it didnt exclude D&B so I figured it was meant to be. I've never been a purse person but something about having Disney with me all the time just makes me smile. I really like the HM bag, very subtle yet obvious to those of us crazies!! When they first announce it, they said it would be for sale online late fall. Could be dangerous...

Another great report! Very smart to just back off to crazy coffee lady. It actually makes me kind of sad to see grumpy people at Disney, some people just can't give in to the magic and enjoy it. I just want to shake them and say "You're at Disney World, lighten up!" Of course I'm sorta shy and very non confrontational so that would never happen!!

1) Beautiful pics! I have always enjoyed the pictures in your TRs!
2) Beautiful bag! I'll be trying to snag one on my trip next week, but not for me. I'm on a FB group for DD&B and lots of the women there want one so I'm hoping to grab one I can pass on to a DD&B HM lover (and not trying to gouge someone on Ebay; I want it to go for the regular price to someone who wants it badly!). That bag is TOO big for me! (I have the charms barrel, sketch wristlet, princess bucket bag, and sketch satchel - those are more my size! - though I could be tempted by that retro satchel, even though it's big!)

That HM D&B bag is absolutely perfect! I too don't like buying expensive bags. My Disney bag right now was actually purchased from one of the outlets for $15 after wanting it for many trips at the parks and DTD. But when you REALLY love something and will use it for years to come, it definitely is worth the cost especially with the discount and gift card, haha.

I can't imagine not being able to split dishes with my husband! Eating a variety of food is the greatest! I'd be happy if we ordered like, every appetizer off the menu and just tasted everything there instead of ordering one entree. But yay that you got to have some sweet and savory at Kona!

OMG, you guys are such celebrities to be noticed on the monorail! That must've been such a hilarious moment!

Oh cool, I love Rainkissed Leaves just from testing out scents at the store! I didn't know that it was somehow linked to Disney too. Maybe my subconscious knew ... despite never having been to BLT or the Beach Club!

Subbing for the first time to one of your TRs, and I'm loving this one! I just finished reading your latest DLR TR, since I'm going for the very first time in a few weeks! And next September/October, I'm planning a trip back to WDW and hope to stay at BC, so I'll definitely have to go back and read your previous TRs. And I can't wait to read this TR about the BCVs.

Your photos are gorgeous, and I love your video- it really captures the Disney magic.

I'm definitely taking note of the shampoo/conditioner bars at the GF shop, and I will definitely have to do a monorail resort tour - love that idea!

I'm excited to see WDW all decorated for fall and Halloween next year. I saw it decorated last November for Christmas, which was gorgeous as well. Your TR is motivating me to update mine more - I'm behind, it's from last November! They are so much fun to write.

Oh my gosh, Dani, there are so many things to comment on!! First...I share your love of schoolbread! We tried it for the first time last year and it was amazing! I can't wait to try it again!

Sorry that you had to change your plans from the AK, but so glad that it worked out for the best! I LOVE your bag, and I especially love that fact that you wanted it partly because of Matt's love for HM! When I first read that you were on a mission for something that was just being released, I thought maybe it was for one of the Disney Vera Bradley's. I was close though! So glad you love your bag, and I agree that it's a great size!

Your breakfast at Captain Cook's looked amazing! I've had the Tonga Toast once, and while I really, really liked it, I think next time I'll have to try and dig out the bananas. I like bananas, just not with the toast. And that croissant looked amazing...that has turned out to be one of my very favorite breakfast foods in Disney...they are just so light and crispy and fluffy...oh, I could so go for one right now!

As for Basin--I've never been in the one in the GF, but I'm gonna have to check it out when we go back since we'll be staying at the Villas. I've never even noticed the shampoo and conditioner bars before, but I'm definitely gonna look into those! I do love to stock up on the soaps though...there are three in particular that I try to get several of each time we go...they all have the Mickey heads inside and I just adore them....it's one of those things that I can smell and it makes me feel as I've been transported back to Disney again and I can see myself standing in the middle of Basin in Downtown Disney and it totally makes me happy!

I love the monorail loop that you guys do, and I'm glad that you were able to explore Bay Lake a bit. That's where we stayed back in August, and we really fell in love with the place. And I'm so glad you mentioned the smell as I wondered if it was the same as the Beach Club. It is fantastic, and now that I know about the scent from Bath & Body Works, I'm definitely going to have to check it out. There's something about catching a whiff of something and it immediately takes you back to Disney...which goes right back to what I just mentioned!

Womp. I was literally over 10 pages behind. I'm caught up now so yay!

Some things that stuck out in all my reading:

LOVE Sulley duffy. I literally had the costume in my hands in the Duffy store in Epcot and put it down. I'm extra sad that I didn't get it.

The lady recognizing Matt saying you were dancing in it is literally the best thing I've heard all day.

100% a good decision to go get the HM Dooney. It's awesome and that's a great size bag. Definitely expensive but at least it's huge!

We were at DHS for the Villains event too! Although I'm pretty sure like the entire population of Florida was there. I'm excited to see how your experience compared to ours.

I adore your trip video. As you know, I had to hide at work to watch it but it was totally worth it! You guys are the best.

STILL dying over your bag. I am a card-holder-only type person, too, but I'd totally carry a purse like that. I totally understand you liking HM more because of how much Matt loves it; even I think I love it more now just because of how much he loves it!! It's kind of like how I love IASW because of how much Brynn loves it.

I am all about a good smorgasbord. What's up with Matt not usually being a smorgasbord sort of person?! I didn't even know that sort of person could possibly exist! It's so fun to say, and even more fun to eat. A little sugar, a little salt, and that's meal perfection.

Hey guys! I just wanted to apologize for being MIA and explain what's been going on lately around here...

This past week was absolutely INSANE, between my entire team at work being in the office (we have a NYC team that flew out for the week) and doing training and fancy dinners and blahblahblah... then Matt's Mom was in the hospital for surgery.

She experienced some VERY scary complications (they over-medicated her) so we have been spending a lot of time in the ICU/at the hospital. Good news is that she is home now and is recovering from her surgery, which is fantastic.

Add in the fact that we are leaving for Disneyland on WEDNESDAY (I'm so, so excited and we both need this trip after the past week we've had), we've been beyond busy... Honestly my brain is pretty fried and I'm exhausted, but thankfully today has been a laidback day (aside from tons of packing/picking up the house)...

Anyway! I want to get another update done today before we leave for our trip. We won't be back until Sunday the 17th, so you'll have to hold tight until we're back for more updates!

I WILL be writing a TR about our Disneyland trip, but I'm still undecided about when I'll actually start posting it. I don't like writing two TRs at once, so I may just wait to start posting it until this one is done... but we'll see.

All this being said, because of the lack of time, replies will be short today, but I promise it won't be like this in the future. I hope you guys know how much I love your comments as they keep me wanting to write these TRs!

Your low September crowds are making me thing we should go the end of September/beginning of October but I'm not so sure on the heat! Although the trip I just got back from was SO hot as well and I'm not sure if its hotter in September or the same! We finally got a brak on the humidity our last few days and it was so nice.

Flying first class must have been awesome. I'd love to be able to do so but alas we fly Southwest and no first class. I'd also love an earlier flight and be able to have ME shlep our bags for us!

The boats from WL are awesome! One of our favorite reasons for stayign there!

We were just there for 8 days and not once did we put on our bathing suits! Love that you were able to get pics in the pool but Boo on the thunderstorm ruining it!

I'm so happy for you that you got the HM D&B! A friend from work asked me to look for one for her, but yeah, that was a lost cause. The pricetag is pretty big, but sometimes you just have to spoil yourself! I have a Mickey D&B I love, and the only reason I felt okay getting it was because I'm not a bag person either, so I'll use this one for a long time before I need another one. Did you know there's a whole Disney D&B group on Facebook and those women have dozens of bags??? I joined to ask a question about the letter carrier bag, and was amazed!

Holy rude lady at Starbucks! I don't know what it is about some people that they think lines just aren't meant for them too.

A monorail resort tour is a great way to spend the morning! Especially since AK was obviously just not going to work out for you. And for the record, I totally agree with you on splitting food, and DH doesn't like to do it either!

I'm so glad you guys had such good luck with the boats! The only time I stayed at WL was in a January, and I had really bad luck with the boats, which was a shame because it was actually chilly outside (hard to imagine, I know!), and, of course, chilly on the boats, meaning I spent a lot of time standing around shivering, and I never felt quite warm on that trip. It was still a good trip, of course, but my WL memories are a bit goosebump-covered.

And actually, our first time trying school bread was back in 2012! It became our favorite snack and we get it multiple times every trip now! I just get that excited over it every time, hahaha.

I bought my first D&B last December and its almost ridiculous how happy it makes me! Someone on the bus gave me a 20% off coupon and it didnt exclude D&B so I figured it was meant to be. I've never been a purse person but something about having Disney with me all the time just makes me smile. I really like the HM bag, very subtle yet obvious to those of us crazies!! When they first announce it, they said it would be for sale online late fall. Could be dangerous...

Another great report! Very smart to just back off to crazy coffee lady. It actually makes me kind of sad to see grumpy people at Disney, some people just can't give in to the magic and enjoy it. I just want to shake them and say "You're at Disney World, lighten up!" Of course I'm sorta shy and very non confrontational so that would never happen!!

It's the best thing ever! I'm in love with the bag and highly suggest you get one if you can! It's beautiful.

1) Beautiful pics! I have always enjoyed the pictures in your TRs!
2) Beautiful bag! I'll be trying to snag one on my trip next week, but not for me. I'm on a FB group for DD&B and lots of the women there want one so I'm hoping to grab one I can pass on to a DD&B HM lover (and not trying to gouge someone on Ebay; I want it to go for the regular price to someone who wants it badly!). That bag is TOO big for me! (I have the charms barrel, sketch wristlet, princess bucket bag, and sketch satchel - those are more my size! - though I could be tempted by that retro satchel, even though it's big!)
3) I have never been to WL but your pictures are making me want to go!

That HM D&B bag is absolutely perfect! I too don't like buying expensive bags. My Disney bag right now was actually purchased from one of the outlets for $15 after wanting it for many trips at the parks and DTD. But when you REALLY love something and will use it for years to come, it definitely is worth the cost especially with the discount and gift card, haha.

I can't imagine not being able to split dishes with my husband! Eating a variety of food is the greatest! I'd be happy if we ordered like, every appetizer off the menu and just tasted everything there instead of ordering one entree. But yay that you got to have some sweet and savory at Kona!

Oh cool, I love Rainkissed Leaves just from testing out scents at the store! I didn't know that it was somehow linked to Disney too. Maybe my subconscious knew ... despite never having been to BLT or the Beach Club!

Oh my gosh, Dani, there are so many things to comment on!! First...I share your love of schoolbread! We tried it for the first time last year and it was amazing! I can't wait to try it again!

Sorry that you had to change your plans from the AK, but so glad that it worked out for the best! I LOVE your bag, and I especially love that fact that you wanted it partly because of Matt's love for HM! When I first read that you were on a mission for something that was just being released, I thought maybe it was for one of the Disney Vera Bradley's. I was close though! So glad you love your bag, and I agree that it's a great size!

Your breakfast at Captain Cook's looked amazing! I've had the Tonga Toast once, and while I really, really liked it, I think next time I'll have to try and dig out the bananas. I like bananas, just not with the toast. And that croissant looked amazing...that has turned out to be one of my very favorite breakfast foods in Disney...they are just so light and crispy and fluffy...oh, I could so go for one right now!

As for Basin--I've never been in the one in the GF, but I'm gonna have to check it out when we go back since we'll be staying at the Villas. I've never even noticed the shampoo and conditioner bars before, but I'm definitely gonna look into those! I do love to stock up on the soaps though...there are three in particular that I try to get several of each time we go...they all have the Mickey heads inside and I just adore them....it's one of those things that I can smell and it makes me feel as I've been transported back to Disney again and I can see myself standing in the middle of Basin in Downtown Disney and it totally makes me happy!

I love the monorail loop that you guys do, and I'm glad that you were able to explore Bay Lake a bit. That's where we stayed back in August, and we really fell in love with the place. And I'm so glad you mentioned the smell as I wondered if it was the same as the Beach Club. It is fantastic, and now that I know about the scent from Bath & Body Works, I'm definitely going to have to check it out. There's something about catching a whiff of something and it immediately takes you back to Disney...which goes right back to what I just mentioned!

School bread is just the best. We can't get enough of it on every trip!

I can see some people not liking the bananas. But I love the croissant sandwiches, they're so good!

Basin White is fabulous! It's just smaller than Basin, but they have great stuff. And those bars are AWESOME. They've made my hair look so much healthier. I LOVE BASIN!

And thanks! I'm glad we got to see BLT. I don't think we'll ever stay there (especially now with the Villas at GF and then the Poly Villas being built), but I'm glad we finally got to see it! It just don't feel very Disney to me for some reason. But I know people feel the same way about other resorts. But that smell is the BEST.

Womp. I was literally over 10 pages behind. I'm caught up now so yay!

Some things that stuck out in all my reading:

LOVE Sulley duffy. I literally had the costume in my hands in the Duffy store in Epcot and put it down. I'm extra sad that I didn't get it.

The lady recognizing Matt saying you were dancing in it is literally the best thing I've heard all day.

100% a good decision to go get the HM Dooney. It's awesome and that's a great size bag. Definitely expensive but at least it's huge!

We were at DHS for the Villains event too! Although I'm pretty sure like the entire population of Florida was there. I'm excited to see how your experience compared to ours.

I adore your trip video. As you know, I had to hide at work to watch it but it was totally worth it! You guys are the best.

Basin is HUGE, I like Basin White at the GF since it's smaller. But it's overwhelming, I agree!
