Here's how you can do the monorail resorts without a car and without going into a park. Take the Pop Century bus to Magic Kingdom. Board the monorail (outside the park entrance). See the Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian. For variety, you can walk to the Contemmporary from the Magic Kingdom. You can also walk from the TTC to the Polynesian. You can also walk from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian. I love doing this because you walk right past the Wedding Pavilion.
After doing the monorail resorts you can (back at the Magic Kingdom), take a boat to the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.
Again back at the Magic Kingdom, take a bus to any of the Epcot resorts (the Swan/Dolphin would be best for a circular tour). If you take the Swan bus, get off there and then walk around Crescent Lake to see the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club and the Boardwalk.
You can also take the Pop Century bus to Epcot then do your monorail tour from there, add in the boat trip to Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness and then do the Epcot resorts.
Then from whatever resort you end up at, take the bus to Downtown Disney and then the boat from there up to Port Orleans, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West. You can walk in between the two Port Orleans resorts. I'm not sure if you can do that in between Saratoga Springs and Old Key West. and I'm not sure of the boat schedule.
That should give you enough for one day. For Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will have to take a bus from any of the parks. Same with Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, adn the All Stars.
I think I named them all.
