I have been reading the "Unofficial Guide" and have taken note of their touring plans. How do you follow that plan if you do not plan on arriving as soon as park opens and will be omitting some of the rides/ attractions they have listed. Is there a site where I can copy their tour plan? It's difficult to copy out of the book. Any other suggestions for guides on how to best tour the parks?

I've never followed someone else's plan. I always jsut do it on my own. My general rule of thumb is to hit everything I desperately want to see first (or at least get fast passes) and after that work my way around the park from left to right.

We have a habit of arriving at the parks around 11am. The 1st thing we do is to check the tips board at that particular park and check out the waiting times. If a particular area has small waiting, that's where we go 1st. Years ago, I use to carry a little notebook with me where I wrote down the tips of what attractions to hit when. Now, we just wing it.

Take a look. For a small fee, you can subscribe and find oodles of specialized touring plans. It's updated every few days. I think it's worth it.
