last night I went looking at this product as I feel it will be beneficial to me and our trip. Insaw a code MCDUCK on a savings site, not sure which one, that gave it to you for 7.95, which I think is a steal. At 12.95 I think so too but 8bucks would be better lol. Anyone ever use this code RECENTLY, or has anyone used a code, remember what it was and for how much, and been successful recently?

Thank you

I haven't used that code, but if you navigate their site you will eventually find a "hidden" code that will give it to you for 10 bucks. I asked about TP recently and signed up. I likee their stuff so far and their iphone app looks useful too.

I've used Touring Plans, and RideMax in the past, but to be honest, since they introduced FP+ last year, I didn't feel the need for either, and we managed to do everything we wanted to in each park with only our FP+ and my own loose plan laid out in MDE so that we wouldn't miss important show times.

I have subscribed to Touring Plans since 2005. We have used it multiple times at WDW, once at DLR, and once at Universal. We always do a personalized plan, sometimes based upon a stock plan. We have used it twice with FP+ (7/2014 & 3/2015) and once with legacy FP. I still love using it. FP+ only covers 3 rides, so there is still a lot of time to make efficient. Plus, it's useful to help you decide which rides, if you have doubts, and what times to pick. I wouldn't do a trip without it. It really helps to see if you can fit in everything you want to do in the time you have, including breaks and meals. I use the app on iPhone. The posted, expected, and reported wait times and FP+ availability are really useful in the app.

EDIT: I also like to print out the plan, so I have my ADRs & FPs on paper, instead of having to use the phone all the time.

I use it all the time - been a subscriber for years. It's one of my fave planning sites. Touring plans sponsors a podcast, WDWToday and within the first two minutes they give a code for 20% off the price of a membership.

and when you used it(TP) @Tomh what month was it?

I used Touring Plans once in July, and once in August, then RideMax several times in August. Both worked well for me, though I liked the very detailed and customized RideMax plans a bit more.

:thumbsup2 I've had a subscription since 2008 and love it. I love making my own plans and the app is great.

That code is ZUZU2015

My subscription ran out last week, so I need to renew. This is the only one I keep up, even if I do nto have a trip planned....I love the crowd calendars!

Were you using the TP personalized plans? If so, what info did Ridemax provide that TP didn't? I have never used Ridemax.

No, we used the generic, premade TP plans. Ride max spells out everything to the last minute, including how long you will be walking, how long standing in line, how long to actually experience the attraction. It also gives you the option of choosing a walking speed, slow or fast (might have been a medium option too, don't recall now) so you can tailor it to your needs. I really liked having the exact times of everything listed, which makes it easy to know at just a glance whether you are on schedule, behind schedule, or ahead, and by how much. You can quickly decide if you need to skip something, or just hustle a bit to make up a few minutes, or if you might have extra time to use the restrooms, or get a pressed penny, sneak in an extra ride, what ever.

The TP personalized plans also give you wait time, arrival time, ride duration, and walking time. It also has walking and waiting time controls. They also show a rudimentary map with each step on it. Just copy one of the premade plans and hit optimize.

I have a subscription. I love looking at the crowd calendars and sifting through information about parks, resorts, etc... I will probably renew when it is up. However, I did not use the personalized touring plans. I would put my fast pass times in and it would tell me I needed to get better times. (after I put in my rides and shows) I ended up going with the easyWDW generic plans and looking at TP pre-made plans. That was last Sept/Oct so maybe the personalized touring plan creator is more user friendly.

im wondering how it is on android as thats what we have

I'm using it on Android now and love it. We do use it for the personalized plans but what really makes it worth it for me are the real time updates on wait times. I find them more accurate than the times that Disney posts.
