Hi,
I am trying to come up with touring plans for these two parks. Without fastpass I am having trouble prioritizing which rides to hit first. Please help me put these in the order we should do them. I hope to be at the parks an hour before opening, but if not I’ll need to figure out where on the list to start and what to save for later in the day.

Animal kingdom: 1 day. Debating arriving for rope drop versus arriving a bit later and staying until closing. Do I do avatar land first or do all the other things first and do avatar stuff later in the day?

Safari
Navi river
Flight of passage (maybe twice if able)
Everest - multiple times if able
Both animal trails
Feathered friends bird show
Maybe kali river rapids?
Lunch reservation at yak n yeti 12pm

Hollywood studios: 2 DAYS - go for rope drop till early afternoon both days, swim, hop to Epcot in the evening. Help me break up the rides over the two mornings. I have lunch reservations both days at 11:30 (Hollywood derby and 50s prime time). Where do I go first in the morning? Hoping to avoid long lines in the hot sun....

ROTR (hope to secure boarding pass)
Millenium Falcón smugglers run more than once if possible
Star tours - multiple times if able
Mickey and Minnie railroad
Slinky dog - more than once if able
Rock n roller coaster - will be using rider swap for this.

Any suggestions appreciated! I feel totally lost without fastpass lol! Thank you!

Have you considered getting a subscription to www.touring plans.com? I think they would be really helpful to you in creating a touring plan, especially if you want to ride some rides multiple times. I’ve been using them for years now.

I would also highly recommend getting a subscription ($17.95 per year) to www.touringplans.com as you can generate personalized touring plans that take into account all kinds of things including walking speed, when you want to take breaks/have lunch etc. We have used it for all of our visits and it is definitely money well spent.

Typically we look for the most popular rides we want to do and where they are located in the park. Zig-zagging all over the park wastes a lot of time and you have to fight the crowds to get from one place to another. There is really no magic is how to see any of the parks. Use the online map Disney provides to decide your route. The most popular rides will tend to have the longest lines. Without FastPass you either do those early or late in the day. That is what works for us.

No amount of advance planning will make the park any less crowded.

I do have a touring plans subscription and it has me riding Everest first thing so I was questioning if this is in fact the best plan. I was looking for real life human opinions from those who have been to WDW in the covid no fastpass era:).
