We're going to be making our first trip to IoA/US later this week, staying at HRH for 1 night so we can get FOTL.

Does using FOTL mean that we don't need to worry at all about what order we do the attractions, or are there tips we should still follow? Can we really just wander the parks at our whim and go on whatever we want when we want?

Thanks

Pretty much means that. If the parks are crowded we try to hit the more popular rides first thing in the AM, that would be at IOA: Spiderman, Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Jurassic Park, then the rest at your leisure (Dudley Doo Rights, Popeye you get very wet on these 2 so we usually leave them for just before we are leaving the park), at USO: Mummy, MIB, BTTF, T-2 3D, Shrek 3-D, and then the rest of the park.

You only need to plan if you want to ride the first row of Hulk and Dueling Dragons-- which I highly recommend. Go to them first if you want the front row and then enjoy the parks at your leisure. The FOTL can't be beat.

Petradnon Flyers is another attraction you need to visit first if you want to ride it. There is no express pass for it, and if you are over the height limit, you need a kid. They usually let adults ride first thing in the morning.
Therefore, you'd hit Hulk first for your front seat ride, PF, then Dueling Dragons.
Over at USF, there is a boat ride that goes down a slide. No express pass for this and the line can get long in the afternoon. Same thing for the Fievel Playground area, there are nerf ball guns, and the place gets crowded in the afternoon.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I'm sure we'll have a great time.
