Touring plan (no express) June 5-8

Am planning to visit both parks between June 5-8th and wondering if anyone had any advice for touring plans. Hoping to beat the major rush of summer and Diagon Alley opening.

I decided to not do express since the rest of my group didn't want to and I felt guilty going with just my 3 with it. My son isn't tall enough to ride a lot anyway so maybe next year 40.5 inches so just enough for some but not all!

With no express pass, I would hit the parks at rope drop and decide what you want to see most.

If it's HP, go there 1st thing. I would prioritize your attractions that are popular and hit those first and as soon as possible.

What is the express ticket for Universal? Do you recommend it? Also, where is the best place to purchase a one day pass?

regular express passes allow a person to use it once per ride/show.
the price depends on date and park when purchased.
two park one day EP's, also can be bought

not much discounts, if any, on a one day one park pass.
