Hey since you are doing touring plans maybe you can work one up for me.:yay: I will be arriving in Orlando on Saturday May 18 and staying until the next Saturday. We will be staying @ Homewood suites and plan to do Universal, IOA, and Seaworld. We may do a mall one day. We will want to do all the rides and all shows (everything possible). Can you give me some advice. Thanks:)

i;m at work now but need more info to help you out.

how many days will you do UO?
how many in your group?
kids...ages?
or all adults?

do you like coasters?

post and i;ll get back to you after work today.
what you let me know, will help me suggest a touring plan

There are 4 in our group 2 adults and 2 daughters ages 10 & 14. We love coasters, we want to do everything available. We have the 7 day tickets to universal so we can take as many days as we need. We will do seaworld one day but other than that we have as many days as we need for universal. We were thinking of doing Seaworld on Wednesday the 23. We will probably have one night for a nice meal at Citywalk. Thanks

i'm working on it.

one question.
are you walking over to the parks or driving over?

since i didn't hear back, let me assume you will walk from homewood suites.
take the sidewalk, go over the bridge on universal av and you will end up at the parking garage. i'm guessing it will take you maybe 20 minutes.

be at the turnstile at 8:15. park officially opens at 9 but those in line will most likely be let in at 8:30 ish if there are many in line.

i pulled up the calendar. no schedule ride or attraction closures listed at this point for either park.

IOA closes at 7 pm may 18 thru the 25. it closes at 8 pm on saturday the 26 and the 25th.
Studios closes at 7 pm each night except for the 25th and that is at 8 pm.

don't know if you are flying in or driving to orlando.
don't know what time you will be checking into the suites.

if you arrive in orlando late afternoon on friday, you might want an easy day for saturday. do the mall on that day. start your parks on sunday if you can wait that long.
if you are not tired on friday from the travel, do the parks early on saturday, leave around 1, go back to the hotel and swim. if you are tired, use this following tour plan for sunday.

you know the pattern....be at the turnstile at 8:15 at IOA. this is coaster morning for your group.
walk thru POE. lean to the left for Hulk.
being at the park this early, you can easily grab front row seats.
get off and repeat it. move on to dr doom. i always say that because i love that ride.
once on that ride and go to spiderman. the regular line has lots to look at as you walk thru it. take any row they give you for this ride. do a repeat after this one and tell the TM you want the other row this time. front and back have different thrills for riders.

if you started on hulk at 8:30, at this point, it is about 9:20.
go in the same direction towards the back of the park. do jurassic river ride. duck when you start going down the drop so you don't get wet.
the signs say don't duck, but i duck....

once you are in lost continent, do dueling dragons. do both sides/ice, fire
you do not have to exit the building to do both sides. watch for the signs for the shortcut to go back up once you have ridden one side and exited the ride..

around sinbads show, you will see mystic fountain. have the kids throw a coin in that fountain and see what the big rock says to the kids.
warning, he does "spit"

circle around towards the front and go thru seussland.
do everything here. it is worth it.

it's about 11ish and the park will have crowds now.
do lunch and leave . go back to your room and swim.

since you have the 7 day passes, you can return to the park in the evening if you choose to but, they do close early.

You have been a big help. Also do you have a suggestion on minature golf. We may try to sneak in a round at one. Have you played any and if so which one do you think is best? again thanks for the help. Sorry I did not respond on whether we are walking to universal or not but if it is only 20 mintues walk we may try that to save the $11 for parking.
