Hi~ Not sure where this will end up (not too savvy on thread locations)...but I'm hoping some of you can help me with this. We have been to WDW many times, and I've given "tour tips" to many difft people going for the 1st or 2nd time (as I'm sure many of you have done). However, I'm thinking of getting some tour tips myself this time. Curious to know if you've used Tour Guide Mike or the other one (can't remember the name, but it's a list of strategies, etc.).
Don't need much info on the attractions or dinners but more ideas on when/how to get FastPasses to work the best for us, etc. If so, can you give me an idea of which you'd suggest and why? I'd like to make the most of our time but I'd mostly like to learn a few new tips myself...always looking to learn more about the World! Thanks a lot for your help~ Gina

One tip on the fastpass - It surprises me how few people know that the time given to return is not the time you must ride. The bottom line is that you can ride anytime after the original start time of the pass.

An example - you get a fastpass that reads come back between 10am-11am to ride

you can ride at 1pm if you choose. The cast members will honor the pass anytime that day.

Also, remember to read the fine print near the bottom of the ticket which will give you the next time your ticket is eligible for another fastpass. It's not always the same as the last FP start time.
Hope that makes sense.

I love Tour Guide Mike. While i have been to Disney many times, and thought I had it down pat, I did learn a lot from TGM. For me, it's worth the subscription fee....

:thumbsup2

Thanks a lot for the info!! I didn't realize there WAS fine print on the bottom of FastPasses; I'll definitely check that out. I think I will try TGM as well. I really appreciate your help!!

Thanks Wendy!! I will definitely subscribe. How far in advance do you usually do so?
